Wildwood Cabin is secluded and sits in the woods and overlooks the New River. Most days the only thing you will hear is the shoals of the river. Possibly depending on the wind you may hear a slight background noise from the livingroom even though it is a several miles away.

I would say every everybody says the view and pictures can’t describe it. Also, the decor was quite quirky and if you don’t know right by the stairs for future guests, there’s a wooden board that tells you the moisture of the wood as they were building pretty cool. I look forward to going back off the grid no Internet, just me and my thoughts. If you’re looking for Internet and TV and all those 21st century comforts kids and a lot of adults are used to this is not the place.

We truly enjoyed staying at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, welcoming, and exactly as described. The house was comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The space was perfect for relaxing, and the overall atmosphere made our stay incredibly enjoyable. For Anyone looking to stay here, the views of the river from the house are gorgeous. Also, Keep in mind that stores aren’t close. Everything is a little bit of a drive so come prepared. It’s a great spot to get away for a few days. Communication was smooth and easy, and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The last section of the road leading to wildwood cabin is gravel. The driveway is gravel and does not require a 4x4 drive vehicle unless it snows. The driveway is longer and does circle around making it easy in and out access.
